Current and future Americans benefit from legal immigration; we are enriched by those who tackle the hurdles of this process! ”
Judicial Confirmation
“Decision for “Roe v. Wade” is at risk. If this decision were constitutionally grounded, would it matter who served on the bench? We entrust a life term to judges to ensure that their decisions are true to the Constitution and not to their political nature.”
Healthcare
“Universal Health Care is no more constitutionally supported than federally supplied food, water, shelter and companions. If Americans want Federal Government-provided health insurance, then an Amendment must authorize it.
Until then, Federal involvement should relax inter-state commerce laws and enforce immigration laws. We must allow Individual Tax Credit/Portability.”
Religion
“The Supreme Court's obligation to obey precedents established by prior decisions or “Stare decisis” plays havoc when they defend the "Separation of Church and State".
Nowhere in our Constitution can these words be found. The Court is another institution which needs to abide and uphold this very foundation written by our Founders.
Of course, American History students know the Framers meant that no religion should be subject to forced exclusion from any public domain; all are free to practice and publish their beliefs. It just so happens that our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were drafted among a Judeo-Christian cultural majority.
This fact should never be sandblasted from our buildings, nor expunged from our school books. Erasing our deep heritage, in an effort to appease the few, offends most.”
Energy
“Yes, Jobs, Jobs, Jobs are at hand with Green energy solutions. These solutions include improving our power grid - nuclear power and clean coal, engaging oil exploration and production. The excuses for not moving forward are based on old technology and techniques, as well as political loyalty to activists. If we want to move to electrical transportation solutions, we will need an upgraded grid. Then, further independence will be ours.”
Environment
“Many Americans have been good stewards of our environment, such as the cleaning up of the Chesapeake Bay. Unfortunately, activists produce flawed data which biased politicians and judges leverage to interfere with our civil liberties.”
